In the cricketing world, there are few rivalries as intense and anticipated as India vs. Pakistan. As the two cricketing giants prepare to lock horns in the World Cup 2023 on 14th October, Saturday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the stakes are higher than ever. Pakistan, despite a dismal record against India, stands resolute in its quest for a long-awaited victory, while India enjoys the distinct advantage of playing on home turf.

India has consistently dominated Pakistan, boasting a 7-0 record against their arch-rivals since the 1992 World Cup. However, history means little on the day of a match, and Babar Azam, Pakistan's skipper, exudes a spirit of determination.

During the pre-match press conference, Azam spoke candidly to the media about the challenges and expectations that come with the highly anticipated encounter.

Azam's statement resonated with a palpable sense of anticipation as he addressed the flood of ticket inquiries and the 7-0 scoreline that has haunted Pakistan for decades.

"I've received more calls for India vs. Pakistan tickets than reminders of the 7-0 scoreline."

Azam commented, alluding to the passionate fanbase that eagerly anticipates the clash of the titans.

The Pakistan skipper also discussed his captaincy and the unwavering faith that has sustained him through trying times.

"I have never feared losing my captaincy. I firmly believe in Allah's plan for me, and I will lead this team for as long as it is destined."

Azam declared, reinforcing his commitment to steering the Pakistan side to glory in the face of adversity.
