In the ever-evolving world of cricket, comparisons between players are a common occurrence. They provide fodder for discussions and debates among fans and experts alike. Recently, a new comparison emerged, courtesy of former Pakistan cricketer Aaqib Javed, who expressed his admiration for Zaman Khan's skills in white-ball cricket and compared him to Naseem Shah.

Naseem Shah responds gracefully to Aaqib Javed's comments

Aaqib had recently stated that Zaman possessed exceptional skills in white-ball cricket, and called him one of the best bowlers during the death overs in the world. He went on to claim that Zaman was better in white-ball cricket than Naseem.

Such comparisons can often stir controversies, but Naseem responded with notable grace and humility. In a conversation with a local YouTube channel, Naseem shared his perspective on the matter where he emphasized his focus on self-improvement rather than indulging in comparisons.

"Have I ever said that I am a good bowler or am I better than someone. Every bowler in the world is better than me,” said Nassem.

The 20-year-old humbly reckoned that all other bowlers are better than him. His emphasis has always been on contributing to his team by striving to win matches and take wickets. He explained that his goal has consistently been to improve his bowling skills rather than engaging in comparisons with fellow bowlers.

"Look, everyone is better than me, I have never put an emphasis that I have to become better in comparison to others, I have always tried to win matches for my side and get wickets for my side. I have always tried to become a better bowler instead of comparing myself to others,” concluded the prodigious bowler.
