England’s 5-wicket win over India in the first Test at Headingley has fired up both former players and fans. Michael Vaughan, never shy with his words, believes it could be the beginning of a dominant series for the home side, while Wasim Jaffer countered him in an interesting banter.
The host team looked very strong in the series opener at Leeds, especially with the bat. Chasing a massive 371-run target on Day 5, England pulled off the win comfortably, thanks largely to Ben Duckett’s superb 149.

Vaughan Trolled India Over Sloppy Fielding In First Test
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan took a cheeky dig at Team India’s sloppy fielding in the Headingley Test, sarcastically offering his services as a fielding coach. With Yashasvi Jaiswal dropping multiple chances and Ravindra Jadeja also grassing a key catch of Ben Duckett, who went on to score 149, Vaughan tweeted, "Just to let you know I have offered myself to India as a fielding coach. My academy does a roaring trade."
