India pacer Arshdeep Singh showcased heartwarming moment after Day 3 of the second Test against England, cheekily updating teammate Mohammed Siraj’s now-iconic post-T20 World Cup dialogue. Following Siraj’s stunning six-wicket haul that changed the game in India’s favour, Arshdeep barged into the BCCI interview and announced a slight 'dialogue change'.

Mohammed Siraj was at the peak of his powers at Edgbaston. The ace pacer claimed 6 wickets for 70 in England’s second innings to dismantle their middle and lower order after a mammoth 300-run partnership between Harry Brook and Jamie Smith.

The effort marked Siraj’s fourth five-wicket haul in Test cricket, a spell that brought India roaring back into the match and left England trailing by 180 runs.

Arshdeep Asks Siraj To Change Dialogue

But before the fast bowler could even begin reflecting on his performance during his post-day interview with the BCCI, Arshdeep jumped in with a grin and declared:

"Bhai, dialogue change. I only believe in myself and Jassi bhai. Aaj se dialogue change hai. Plan mein halka sa change hai — I believe in myself and Jassi bhai!"

The comment was a playful twist on Siraj’s now-viral remark after India’s T20 World Cup triumph against South Africa in June. At the time, when asked about India’s dramatic victory in the final- Siraj, had said:

"I only believe on Jassi bhai, because game-changer player he is, only one guy — Jasprit Bumrah."

Team Spirit On Full Display

Siraj’s impact extended beyond just the wickets column. His fellow pacers was on display, particularly with Akash Deep, who bowled impressively and picked up 4 wickets in the innings. Siraj later revealed that he had even considered bowling looser deliveries to allow Akash a better chance at a maiden five-wicket haul.

"I really wanted him to get five wickets. He bowled so well and deserved it,” Siraj told the BCCI in the same interview.

Siraj Flourishes Without Bumrah

While Siraj openly idolises Bumrah, his numbers tell an intriguing story. In Tests with Bumrah, Siraj has taken 69 wickets in 33 matches at an average of 33.82. In contrast, without Bumrah, he’s managed 39 wickets in 15 Tests at an outstanding average of 25.20.
