Pakistan batter Imam-Ul-Haq revealed the message that all-rounder Agha Salman sent to Virat Kohli after his altercation with Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq in the Indian Premier League 2023 match between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants.

Talking about the face-off, tensions flared when Kohli and Naveen exchanged heated words while the Afghanistan pacer was batting in the RCB vs LSG encounter in Lucknow.

The whole thing went off the rails after the game, almost ending up in a physical clash between the two players. It got so intense that Gautam Gambhir, the LSG mentor, couldn't help but get involved, turning it into the talk of the town for this IPL season.

Getting into the nitty-gritty of the controversy, Imam-Ul-Haq, during a recent podcast, revealed that Agha Salman sent an Instagram message to Virat Kohli after the heated exchange, urging him to stay composed.

Here is what Imam-Ul-Haq said

“If you remember, Virat Kohli had a fight with Afghanistan pacer Naveen ul Haq. It was a very intense fight that both the players almost had a disastrous face off even after the match. Even Gautam Gambhir got involved in it. It was a very huge controversy and Virat Kohli showed a lot of aggression. So, Salman Agha Ali sent a message to Virat Kohli, saying “Kohli bacche easy hoja, kya ho gaya hai.”

While the eyes of the world were fixed on Virat Kohli and Naveen-Ul-Haq during the India versus Afghanistan ODI World Cup 2023, the players opted for a surprising turn of events, deciding to let go of past grievances and forge a new understanding.
