India's batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi etched his name in history books, as he became the youngest batter to slam a century in the Indian Premier League. The southpaw achieved the remarkable feat in Rajasthan Royals' latest IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Batting first, the Titans posted a massive total of 209 runs, thanks to blistering half-centuries from Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill. In response, the Royals finished the chase inside 16 overs, with Suryavanshi hammering a memorable ton.
As the prodigious talent continues to grab attention, we throw light on IPL's five youngest centurions.
5. Yashasvi Jaiswal - 21 Years 123 Days
India's promising opener Yashasvi Jaiswal claims the fifth position on the list, having struck his first IPL ton at the age of 21 years and 123 days. It was the 42nd match of the IPL 2023, as RR took Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.
After RR won the toss and opted to bat first, Jaiswal came out to open the batting with Jos Buttler. Although wickets kept tumbling, the southpaw held the fort at the other end, eventually bringing up a ballistic century.
His glorious 62-ball 124, studded with 16 fours and eight sixes, powered the Royals to 212. However, his valiant effort went in vain, with MI chasing the target in 19.3 overs, riding on a superb collective batting effort.

Karnataka's talented batter Devdutt Padikkal is at number four, having slammed an IPL century at the age of 20 years and 289 days. The left-handed batter unlocked the feat in RCB colours during the high-profile IPL 2021 clash against Rajasthan Royals.
It was the 16th group-stage encounter of that season, as the Royals posted a respectable total of 177 runs. Although the game was expected to be interesting, RCB openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal took them home without any hiccups.
While Kohli slammed 72 runs off just 47 deliveries, Padikkal remained unbeaten on 101 off just 52 deliveries, ensuring RCB's one-sided win.
3. Rishabh Pant - 20 Years 218 Days
Former Delhi Capitals' captain Rishabh Pant scripted history as a youngster when he smashed a breathtaking hundred against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2018.
Batting first, DC lost three quick wickets before Rishabh Pant steadied the ship with Harshal Patel. The southpaw unleashed his beast mode, scoring 128 runs off just 63 deliveries with the help of fifteen boundaries and seven maximums.
However, the 188-run target wasn't enough for the Orange Army, who chased it comfortably, riding on Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson's blistering fifties.
2. Manish Pandey - 19 Years 253 Days
