The fast bowler from the roots of Delhi, Mayank Yadav has turned into an amazing find for the Lucknow Super Giants team. Yadav was bought for the base price of 20 lakh in the IPL 2023 Auctions but missed out on the season due to an injury. 

Coming into the IPL 2024, Yadav has recorded some amazing performances in his first two games. 

Mayank Yadav has picked up six wickets in just two games and not only did he consistently bowled over 150 kmph, but also kept his lengths tight. 

In his second IPL game which was against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he bowled 156.7, which became the fastest delivery of IPL 2024 and the fourth fastest in the history of IPL.

The Jammu Express, Umran Malik, stunned the Indian fans with his pace when he made his IPL debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the year. With his sheer pace, he deceived even the best of batters, but his inaccuracy in lengths turned out to be a bit costly for the young Indian speedster. 

In the IPL 2022, while playing against the Delhi Capitals, Umran bowled a number of the fastest deliveries in the history of the IPL. 

The fastest one was when he clocked 157, which turned out to be not just the fastest delivery of the season but also the third-fastest delivery in the history of the IPL.

The Kiwi speedster, Lockie Ferguson, who is famous for his skills of bowling in the middle overs and death overs, also possesses the ability to throw bolts at the batters in the form of sheer pace. His pinpoint yorkers during the backend of the innings helped Gujarat Titans lift their maiden IPL title in the year 2022. 

In the IPL 2022, while playing for the Gujarat Titans, Ferguson threw a fiery bolt to the batter of the Rajasthan Royals, which became the second-fastest delivery in the history of the Indian Premier League.

The Proteas fast bowler, Gerald Coetzee is turning out to be one of the fastest bowlers in the current cricket world. He has managed to deceive the best batters of the world with his pace and accuracy. 

It took him just three games to bowl the second-fastest delivery in the history of IPL, but he is yet to make an impact for his franchise Mumbai Indians.

Coetzee rose to popularity owing to his recent performances in international cricket along a fiery pace by dismissing the greatest batters of the world. 

Now, announcing himself to the IPL, he bowled  157.4 Kmph delivery against the Rajasthan Royals, which became the second-fastest delivery in the history of the league.

The former Australian fast bowler, Shaun Tait, whose name was enough to rattle the best of batters in the world, was one of the prominent faces for the Rajasthan Royals team during his playing years. He represented the Rajasthan Royals team for four seasons and featured in just 21 games in his IPL career. 

To showcase his fierceness with the ball, he bowled the fastest delivery 157.7 in the Indian Premier League back in the 2011 season, which is still the fastest. 

This proves that he was among the rarest players in the world with that much speed and that too with utmost accuracy and consistency.
