Rohit Sharma added another feather to his illustrious career by reaching a remarkable milestone in IPL cricket. The veteran opener became the fourth player to smash 600 boundaries in the tournament’s history.

He achieved this feat during the match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Opening the innings, Rohit struck two quick boundaries off Mohammed Siraj in the very first over to reach the landmark. 1. Shikhar Dhawan - 768 Fours

Shikhar Dhawan tops the list of players with the most numbers of fours hit in IPL history. The Indian southpaw, known for his elegant stroke play, has represented five different franchises since the league’s inception. Across 222 matches, he has smashed an impressive 768 boundaries, showcasing his consistency and ability to find gaps with ease.

2. Virat Kohli - 711 Fours

Virat Kohli stands second on the list, having struck 711 boundaries in his 17-year-long IPL career. The legendary right-hander has remained loyal to Royal Challengers Bengaluru since the inaugural season of IPL back in 2008. Kohli’ who is also the top run-scorer of the tournament’s history, is still performing at the highest level and has a strong chance of surpassing Shikhar Dhawan to claim the top spot in the near future.

3. David Warner - 663 Fours

Australia’s David Warner is the only foreign batter to hit over 600 boundaries in IPL till date. The dynamic left-hander was one of the league’s most consistent performers, representing Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. His aggressive stroke play and ability to dominate bowlers early in the game sets him apart from the rest. He finds himself third on the all-time boundary scorer list with 663 fours across 184 innings.

4. Rohit Sharma - 601 Fours

Rohit Sharma is the latest entrant into the 600 IPL boundaries club, achieving this milestone in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The former Mumbai Indians captain, who began his career with Deccan Chargers, has shown incredible consistency and elegant stroke play in this tournament year after year. He has earned many prestigious feats and is now fourth on the list of players with the most boundaries struck in IPL with 601 in total.
