Cricket is not just a sport; it's a canvas where moments of camaraderie, mentorship, and friendly banter often unfold.

One such memorable instance occurred when Shahid Afridi, the seasoned Pakistani all-rounder, found himself in a unique teaching moment with the young fast bowler and son in-law, Shaheen Afridi.

The duo was practicing at an undisclosed location in Pakistan, wherein the veteran hit a young Shaheen for a massive six at mid-off. The rookie was perplexed and couldn't help but admire his father-in-law's shot.

However, Shahid Afridi didn't plan on being too hard on Shaheen as he later turned into a mentor to teach the youngster the art of power-hitting. He corrected Shaheen's stance and bat swing movement and taught him a more efficient and effective way to hit towering sixes.

A young Shaheen, meanwhile, was all ears and soaked in the teaching to the best of his ability. Overall, it was a heartwarming exchange between the two best talents of the game, who were soon going to be a family.

Shaheen Afridi got married to Shahid Afridi's daughter Ansha earlier this year, and since then, the duo has formed a close bond. The veteran has been more involved with the youngster to shape his future for the better.

Shahid Afridi has been one of the finest finishers in Pakistan's cricketing history. His ability to slam towering sixes with a fearless approach is still being applauded by millions of cricket fans across the world.

On the contrary, Shaheen Afridi is a lethal fast bowler. His art of deception via swing movement helped him become Pakistan's front-line bowler across all formats of the game.

However, despite being a bowler, Shaheen understands how 10-20 extra runs in the team total can often have a big impact on the results. Thus, he turned to Shahid Afridi to seek tips for power hitting so that he could help Pakistan add those valuable runs at the end in future.
