Amid concerns of some injury, West Indies pacer Obed McCoy joined his Indian Premier League (IPL) side Rajasthan Royals ten days before the start of the season.

The news comes after it was previously reported by this website that McCoy is likely to miss the season either partially or in entirety after getting ruled out of the series versus South Africa.

This update would come as a relief to the fans of Pink Army who were worried about the availability of their star bowler.

The information was released through social media handles of the side where the pacer is seen quashing rumours of his injury. In the video, he said,

"Koi bhi doubt mat rakhna (Don't keep a doubt)"

Further, the left-armer does the iconic step from Pushpa, something he was seen doing the  last season as a celebration after claiming a wicket

Obed was kept under observation by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) for the South African ODI series after a potential knee injury. Later, he was ruled out and was under further doubt for the mega-event.

It is to be noted that Rajasthan suffered a blow earlier as well after their premier pacer Prasidh Krishna was sidelined from the entire season.
