Trent Boult Races To A Unique Record; Joins Zaheer Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar In Elite List

Trent Boult and swing bowling is a love story to behold.  He has been brilliant with the new ball across formats for over a decade now and has lighten up world cricket with his crafty swing bowling. In the IPL too, he has been a premier overseas bowler and from the last few seasons, he has been brilliant for Rajasthan Royals.

In the 66th game of IPL 2023, RR and PBKS were involved in a do-or-die encounter and Trent Boult who bowled the first over of the game weaved his magic instantly in the second ball of the game. It was his seventh wicket in 10 opening overs in the IPL 2023 and overall it was his 50th wicket in the Powerplay. He hunted Prabhsimran Singh as his 50th IPL wicket in the history of the IPL and joined an elite list.
