The SA20 League have cleared Aaron Phangiso to bowl after the South African bowler re-modelled his action and underwent a re-test. The Joburg Super Kings player faced suspension after the spinner was reported for suspicious action during the franchise's match against the Pretoria Capitals on January 17.

After multiple tests, the SA 20 authorities suspended the left-arm bowler to take further part in the league, who finished as the Kings' second-highest wicket-taker with 10 scalps from six matches.

Phangiso worked with the CSA's Head of High Performance Vincent Barnes and underwent remedial work before undergoing a test at an ICC Accredited Testing Centre situated in Pretoria as per a press release by SA20.

The SA20's independent expert panel consisted of Zama Ndamane, Gerrie Pienaar, Russell Domingo, and Vernon Philander.

This was the second time that Phangiso's bowling action was called illegal. During 2016's One-Day Cup semi-final, he was reported and then got cleared after reworking his action.

Phangiso played 21 ODIs and 16 T20Is for South Africa between 2012 and 2018.
