Sachin reveals his message to the media following Arjun Tendulkar's Ranji heroics

Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Indian stalwart Sachin Tendulkar, recently grabbed a million eyeballs, hammering a gorgeous 207-ball 120 in Goa's Ranji Trophy opener against Rajasthan. 

Arjun's valiant effort powered Goa to a mammoth 547 in the first innings, giving them an edge over their opponents in this crucial clash. 

After his son Arjun's on-field heroics, Sachin Tendulkar revealed that he had urged the local media to allow him to enjoy his game, not putting undue pressure of filling his father's shoes. 

Regarded as the master blaster, Sachin also revealed his parents never pressurised him to perform, which is why he succeeded to the utmost extent. 

Here's what Sachin stated

"Arjun has not led a normal childhood; being a son of a cricketer who has been for quite some time, it is not so easy and that is the only reason when I retired and was facilitated by the media in Mumbai, my message to them was: allow Arjun to fall in love with cricket, give him that opportunity,

"You can follow up with various statements after he has performed. Don’t put pressure on him because I never had pressure from my parents."
