Promising Rajasthan Royals batter Yashasvi Jaiswal unleashed his beast mode, shell-shocking Akash Singh with some flamboyant stroke play during his side's ongoing IPL 2023 face-off against Chennai Super Kings. Jaiswal took on Singh from the word go, smashing him for 31 runs in his two-over first spell in the power play.

After Sanju Samson opted to bat, the RR openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler stood up to the expectations, ensuring a great start for the hosts in the power play. While Buttler took some time to get his eyes in, Jaiswal played the aggressor's role to perfection.

The stylish southpaw from Maharashtra was particularly aggressive against CSK's opening bowler Akash Singh, hitting him for 31 runs in his first two overs. After collecting 13 runs, including three glorious boundaries, in the very first over of the game, Jaiswal smashed Singh for three more fours and a six in his second over, scoring 18 runs in this process.

He continued his onslaught on the other CSK bowlers, completing his fifty in just 26 deliveries. His explosive batting not only unsettled the CSK bowlers, but also gave Buttler the time he needed to get set.

As a result of his nonchalant fifty, RR are off to a flier, placed at 76 for no loss in 7.1 overs. With Jaiswal and Buttler batting on 51* and 24*, respectively, the hosts must be eyeing to put up a mammoth total on the board.
