The ongoing second Test between India and Australia has already been quite monumental for Indian players, with Cheteshwar Pujara playing his 100th red-ball match and Ravichandran Ashwin grabbing his 700th First-Class wicket.

Premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, too, created history to become the fastest Indian (62) to pick up 250 wickets and 2,500 runs in Tests, surpassing former skipper Kapil Dev, who took 65 matches.

Jadeja is now the second quickest player in the world, only behind England all-rounder Sir Ian Botham, who leads with 55. Pakistan's Imran Khan comes in third position with 64, followed by Dev (65).

Jadeja's 250th scalp came in the form of Usman Khawaja, who was caught by KL Rahul on 81.

The 34-year-old made a successful return to red-ball cricket last week in Nagpur, where his performance with both ball and bat, helped India win the encounter quite comfortably.

The Saurashtra-born who made his debut back in 2012, is rightly ranked No.1 in ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders ahead of Ashwin by a long margin.

Speaking of the Delhi Test, Australia are 190 for 6, with Peter Handscomb (35*) and Pat Cummins (15*) providing resistance.

Ashwin is once again the chief tormentor for Australia, claiming three wickets so far, which include the likes of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith.
