Australia's young sensation Cameron Green could be asked to bowl more overs in the upcoming Test series against South Africa reckoned skipper Pat Cummins

The captain indicated that he would be bowling early on in this match as he hardly bowled in the previous series against West Indies. With 29 overs in two Test matches, he would still be fresh and hence, could be used in a more efficient manner.

Green, 23, pulled up his hamstring in the preceding ODI series against England where he couldn't play after the first game. However, he did managed to recover in time for the West Indies red-ball series.

Cummins while talking about the all-rounder said,

"Somewhere like here I'll probably rotate the bowlers around to get him a shot with a swinging ball. He bowled beautifully here last year, got the big wicket of Joe Root. Coming into the [West Indies] series he wasn't under any restrictions but he's still coming off a hamstring injury,"

"We don't really want to burn him in the first couple of games. So any overs he kind of didn't bowl in the first two tests hopefully means he can bowl a few more here."

While the first Test against the Proteas begin on 17th December at the iconic Gabba, Brisbane, their would be so much to look forward to for Cameron Green who is still young in his career.
