Pakistan's bowling will challenge us: Rohit speaks ahead of IND vs PAK clash

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma addressed the media a day before the big India vs Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup 2022, where he spoke about the age-old rivalry.

Sharma ahead of the all important clash said that he acknowledges the challenge that their batters might face against the fiery Pakistani pace bowling attack that have given them nightmares in the past.

Furthermore, he added that none of the Pakistani teams he has played were weak and it is about how a team performs on a particular day. 

What Rohit said about Pakistan

"We know Pakistan bowling will challenge us. We have to bat well and will have to also bowl well, and fielding is also an important aspect.

"All the Pakistani team that I have played are good. It is about who plays well on that day."

Also, he mentioned the fact that both these sides featured in the Asia Cup twice which did helped them to look closely at their opponents.

"Pakistan played well in 2021 World Cup because they played better and in Asia Cup they beat us and we beat them in a match before. Luckily we played them twice in Asia Cup to gaze them."

India will play their arch-nemesis Pakistan on 23rd October at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium.
