Mumbai Indians' Legend Reveals CSK's X-Factor For IPL 2023

To the delight of cricket fans across the globe, the most lucrative T20 tournament, the Indian Premier League, is set to commence on the 31st of this month. 

Although every team looks competent, being studded with some T20 superstars, the eyes will be on MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings, who begin their IPL 2023 campaign against Gujarat Titans in the tournament opener. 

Meanwhile, legendary former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has opined that Ravindra Jadeja could emerge as an x-factor for the CSK in the tournament. 

Speaking to Star Sports, Harbhajan, who has represented both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, expected the CSK management to promote Jadeja, who in turn could play a key role with both bat and ball for the franchise during the showpiece event. 


Here's what Harbhajan said

"The one person who everyone should keep an eye on is Ravindra Jadeja, especially how he bats for CSK. He may be promoted up the order plus he has his four overs,

"I'm looking forward to seeing Ravindra Jadeja in the IPL. The X factor for me will be Ravindra Jadeja because he has been very successful in these conditions as a bowler and a batsman, he's been playing there for so many years. So for me, he is definitely going to be the X factor for the side."

After coming back from an injury hiatus, Jadeja enjoyed prolific success in the recently concluded Test series against Australia, scoring 135 runs and scalping 22 wickets in the tournament. 

Furthermore, the southpaw has represented CSK in 142 matches, amassing 1440 runs and claiming 105 wickets. 

So, considering his recent form and experience, we expect the veteran all-rounder to guide CSK to unprecedented heights in the tournament.
