It was again a nail-biting victory for Pakistan against England. Playing at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the host recorded a win by six runs to go 3 - 2 up in the seven-match series. Mohammad Rizwan emerged as the star performer for his side as he took the Player of the Match award home.

Batting in the first innings, Pakistan posted 145 runs on the board courtesy of Rizwan who alone smacked 63 runs off 46 balls. His knock included two boundaries and three maximums at a strike rate of 136.96. What made Rizwan’s knock more heroic was that no other Pakistani batter scored even 20 runs.

The wickets continuously kept falling at the one end. However, the opening batter held his fort to take his team to a decent score. The knock was not easy for Rizwan considering he got in the fourth over only. On the fifth ball of the fourth over, English seamer Chris Woakes bowled a slower delivery.
