Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener opines that Hardik Pandya is not quite in the same bracket as Ben Stokes as of now.

Since making his comeback from a back injury, Pandya has been sensational both with bat and ball. Of late, he has been instrumental in winning games for his team.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Klusener was asked about the comparison between England's premier all-rounder Ben Stokes and India's Hardik Pandya. The ex-South African cricketer said that Stokes is a more complete all-rounder in comparison to his Indian counterpart.

“I think (Ben) Stokes is a little bit more complete than a guy like Pandya. But he’s learning all the time. In the last two-three years, the strides that Pandya has taken in international cricket are awesome. I don’t think he’s quite the finished product yet," said Lance Klusener.

Klusener feels Pandya can be in the same bracket as Stokes, once he starts completing his full quota of overs.

"The sooner he gets to that (stage) where he’s completing all his overs all the time, I think we can definitely put him in the same bracket as all great all-rounders. He is up there but not quite at the top now.”
