The cricketer claimed that any host nation often starts out as favourites in big tournaments. Moreover, Buttler also revealed how Australia would anyhow start as one of the teams to watch out for, considering they are the defending champions.

The English captain said:

“Many of us have travelled and played in Australia and know the conditions, but of course no-one is going to know the conditions or be as accustomed to them as the Australian team. They are also reigning champions, so you have to pick them out probably as favourites for the tournaments.”

Notably, both England and Australia are placed in Group A. The two sides will be locking horns on October 28 at the MCG.
