Ireland pacer Joshua Little had a terrific T20 World Cup campaign. He was one of the standout performers for his side and even managed to pick up a hat-trick against the Kiwis. He finished the tournament with 11 wickets in seven matches, at an economy of 7.00.

However, despite all the highs he achieved in the World Cup, Little in his own words had a difficult period as a 'net bowler' for Chennai Super Kings.

Little recalls his time in India

"I was told before I went that I'm a net bowler and if someone gets injured then there's a chance I play. But I couldn't bowl when I wanted. I'd get two overs (in training), and I think, two overs, I'm half-way across the world here! Maybe I was naive because I played in the Lankan Premier League, and T10. I had a good year behind me," Little said to Cricbuzz.

He added: "When I found out that I was a net bowler that was required to bowl at someone when the slingers were tired, I was like, 'get me out of here' - which is why probably CSK will never have me back."

The mini IPL Auction takes place in Kochi on December 23 and Little will be hoping to attract some buyers by then.
