Indian bowling Paras Mhambrey confirms all-rounder Hardik Pandya is fit to play in the next game against the Netherlands. While playing a sensational role with both bat and ball for India against Pakistan, Pandya was seen a little tired and uncomfortable during the game, however, he still managed to pull it back for his side.

His outstanding commitment on the field makes him a vital member of the side, and his absence will be a huge role to fill for any team. However, he missed quite a bit of cricket before the IPL last year due to injuries that put his career at stake.

But an improved effort on his fitness is now quite visible as he has managed to play as many matches as possible. Mhambrey replied in the affirmative when asked about the all-rounder. He mentioned that they wouldn't be resting anyone. Since they have the momentum, they surely don't want to break that.

What the bowling coach said

“He (Hardik Pandya) is all right. He is fit to play. We are not going to rest anyone. I think we have a momentum going in the tournament, you need individuals to be in the form as well,

“Hardik wants to play all matches. We are not looking at whom to rest. He is an important player for us, he is bowling as well as batting for us. Other than that, his attitude on the ground like in the last match (against Pakistan) he played a crucial innings,

“Yes, Virat finished the match for us but at such a stage if you want an experienced player to take the match to the end the pressure will obviously shift on the opposition. So, I think Hardik deserves a lot of credit for Virat’s performance. When he went in to bat the conditions were different, I think 4 wickets had already fallen. It was not an easy phase. I think the experience that Hardik brings in is irreplaceable.”

After beating Pakistan, India's next assignment will be against the Netherlands on 27th October.
