Recently, India registered a clinical 3-0 whitewash over Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series. Interestingly, India's bowling unit, which looked toothless in most ODIs last year, emerged as their biggest strength in the series.

Led by Mohammed Siraj, Indian bowlers managed to bundle out Sri Lanka in all three encounters.

While the introduction of Umran Malik has boosted the Indian pace battery, Kuldeep Yadav's redemption has empowered the Men in Blue with a genuine wicket-taker in the middle overs.

Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has shed his thoughts on forgotten speedster Prasidh Krishna.

Pathan, an integral member of the 2007 T20 World Cup winning team, hailed Krishna for his bowling attributes, explaining how he can be an asset for the team if he stays fit.

Here's what Pathan stated

"Prasidh Krishna brings such tremendous ability, one is his pace, we have seen in One-Day cricket, how great bounce he derives out of the pitch. He bowls from near the stumps and swings the ball,

"He is quality and we have seen him in the IPL last year, touching 148 Kmph. If this guy stays fit consistently and bowls for you in white ball cricket, you'll get a solid wicket taker."
