'I Don't Know'-Aiden Markram's Comment On Umran's Non-Selection Shakes SRH Management

After a string of horrendous defeats, Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a group-stage elimination in the IPL 2023. Their abysmal outings prompted the SRH management to perform plenty of experiments with their playing combination, dropping their x-factor Umran Malik as the most prominent one. However, SRH captain Aiden Markram's recent statement on Malik's exclusion from the SRH playing XI has sparked a controversy, indicating an outside influence on team selection.
After losing the toss against RCB, Markram revealed that he doesn't have a role in the Indian speedster's exclusion, as he is unaware of what's happening behind the scenes.
His statement shocked the cricket fraternity, signifying the SRH management's dictatorship in the team selection process.
Here's what Markram said at toss
"Not too sure, to be honest. Certainly, he's a player with the X factor, bowls at 150kph, but I don't really know what's going on behind the scenes."
Talking about Malik, the express pacer from Jammu has had a mediocre IPL 2023 campaign, scalping only five wickets at a horrendous economy of 10.35. Although these stats are enough to justify his non-selection, such a statement from the captain proves that there is a lack of communication in the leadership group, which is discouraging from a team's perspective.
Regarding the game, early strikes from Michael Bracewell have ensured an excellent start for RCB. As of writing, SRH are 49 for two, with Markram and Klaasen batting on 2* and 20*, respectively.
