Promising Indian keeper-batter Narayan Jagadeesan was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the recently concluded IPL mini-auction

Interestingly, Jagadeesan, who had a four-year-long stint with Chennai Super Kings, could play only seven matches for the yellow army.

However, after being released by the four-time champions, Jagadeesan revealed how his CSK stint helped him evolve as a batter and keeper.

Lauding the legendary former Indian captain MS Dhoni, the Tamil Nadu-born explained how his valuable advices brought significant positive changes in his game.

Here's what Jagadeesan stated

"He gave me lots of advice when I was in CSK. I used to go to him with my doubts, he has always been there. He would give me technical tips about wicket-keeping and batting. He also explained technical aspects of the game."

Jagadeesan enjoyed stellar success in the recently held Vijay Hazare Trophy, slamming 830 runs, including a record-breaking 277 at an insane average of 138.33 and a strike rate of 125.37.

Such an outstanding performance in India's premier domestic One-Day competition saw him get an IPL contract, this time with the Knight Riders, for 90 Lakhs.

Considering his recent form, we reckon he might play most of the games this season, unlike the previous ones he has been a part of in the lucrative league.
