Indian women's team have taken giant strides in recent times where they have gone on to dominate different sides in world cricket. Recently, they were crowned the Asia Cup champions defeating Sri Lanka in the finals.

Now, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has come out and praised her side for having trust in each other. The right-hander mentioned that the trust factor has become their biggest strength helping them achieve immense success.

Further, she was confident of her side doing well in their upcoming assignments, adding that all of the players have now started to open up to her which is a major boost.

“For me, it is very important keeping all the players together because according to me, everyone should be able to share their views and be treated with equal importance.

“The most positive thing I feel is that they are opening up in front of me because if they don’t open up, then even I won’t be able to help them. They are trusting me, my plans and my powers and all these things are very important.

“So, it’s the trust factor that we have within the team, is the strength we have right now. The reason we are improving as a team and are able to give results every tournament is the trust factor that is helping us."

India women's next assignment will be against Australia in a five-match T20I series beginning on 9th of December.
