The captain of the Indian Football team, Sunil Chhetri met Virat Kohli and the entire Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side ahead of their opening IPL match against Mumbai Indians.

With the covid protocols getting eased up, RCB invited the football star to their practice sessions and Chhetri could be seen taking part in various activities, including taking some spectacular catches in the practice sessions.

One of the greatest footballer India has ever produced, Chhetri captains both the Indian national team and Bengaluru team in the Indian Super League, and is the third highest international goal-scorer, behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Recently RCB ppsted a video on their social media, wherein Chhetri caught the attention of everyone when he dived full length to his right to take a stunning catch.

He could also be seen interacting with coach Sanjay Bangar and spent some valuable time with former India and RCB skipper, Virat Kohli.

Chhetri also talked about the bond that he shares with Virat Kohli.

“The conversation is always about sports, jokes, having fun and different stuff. I don’t know if people know this but Virat is hilarious.”

“That side of his is probably not known to a lot of people and I don’t know whether he’s gonna like me for saying this but he’s hilarious, man!” he added.

RCB will play their first match of IPL 2023 against Mumbai Indians on Sunday, April 2.
