After the horrific incident of star Indian wicket-keeping batter Rishabh Pant, the skipper of Delhi Capitals (DC) has received tremendous support from all quarters of the society. Previously, Delhi's head coach Ricky Ponting has said that he would want Pant to be a part of their dugout.

However, he wasn't able to join the side for clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), therefore, the franchise did a unique gesture to remember the big-hitter.

During the game, jersey of Rishabh Pant was seen hanging in the Delhi Capitals dugout as his name and number 17 were quite visible.

Delhi's great effort to make him a part of their dugout has been applauded by all as the southpaw has been an integral part from the past few years. Moreover, Pant's abilities with the bat will surely be missed by the Capitals.

In the past, he has delivered time and time again not just with the bat but with his captaincy decisions leading them well in previous editions.

Coming back to the match, Delhi won the toss and opted to bowl first as Kyle Mayers struck a handsome fifty to give his side a great push early on in the contest.
