One of world cricket's most explosive finishers, South Africa's David Miller has his eye set on winning the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 scheduled in India. Miller had a phenomenal 2022 for the Proteas, averaging 57.80 in ODIs, and 60.13 in T20Is.

The 33-year-old's 2022, started with a bang when he played a crucial role in Gujarat Titans' Indian Premier League 2022 title-winning run under Hardik Pandya.

As per News18, speaking ahead of the first-ever SA20 tournament, Miller, who will lead the Paarl Royals, maintained that consistency is important moving forward and that South Africa is hungry to win a World Cup.

Here's what Miller said

“We haven’t managed to win one yet but the end goal is to strive towards the World Cup. It is one of the biggest trophies going around and we have exciting players in the white ball set up coming through. I am certainly looking forward to that World Cup. There is still time left but I have added that to my new year resolution.

Looking into this year, I want to make sure I am in a good mental space and be nice and clear with my plans. I want to stay consistent, whatever team I am playing for."

The SA20 2023 will get underway on January 10, and go on until February 11.
