Chennai Super Kings (CSK) under Mahendra Singh Dhoni will play their 10th Indian Premier League (IPL) Final on Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium. CSK awaits the winner of Qualifier 2 between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI), who will clash tonight at Ahmedabad.

Dhoni-led CSK have managed to fight past tough situations this season, with several injuries to key players, which includes the skipper himself, who has been troubled with knee problems.

Finishing the league stage second, the four-time champions beat defending champions Gujarat comprehensively in Qualifier 1 at Chepauk to book a place in the final.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has heaped praise on the Chennai-based franchise and also Dhoni, for his leadership skills.

Speaking to India Today, the former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President went on to laud young Indian talent as well, who have left an impact on the ongoing IPL season.

Here's what Dada said

“Chennai Super Kings and MS Dhoni have been fantastic. They have shown how to win big matches. Dhoni has been remarkable in his captaincy. He has shown how to win big matches.

Rinku Singh has played well, Dhruv Jurel has played well and Yashasvi Jaiswal also did well. Jitesh (Sharma) played well for the Punjab Kings. Suryakumar (Yadav) and Tilak Varma have played well. The IPL is a huge tournament and they have done exceptionally well,”

Ganguly further predicted that both India and Australia have an equal chance at winning the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2023 which takes place next month in England.
