The BCCI selectors are in no mood to rush back Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja in the national squad. They have settled to keep the duo under observation and ensure that both players are match ready ahead of a busy schedule for the Indian team.

Bumrah was fit for the upcoming Sri Lankan series but the selectors decided not to rush him back. Before bringing him back in the Indian setup, the board wants to evaluate his training that resembles the workload of a proper match, as said by ESPNCricinfo.

Jadeja is also not in the Indian setup for the same reason. The all-rounder had undergone a knee surgery after the Asia Cup in UAE, and was subsequently ruled out of the future tours.

Indian white-ball skipper, Rohit Sharma has started working in nets and will be fully fit before the ODI series commences against Sri Lanka.

BCCI recently announced the Indian squad for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka. Apart from Rohit, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have also been given a rest for the T20I leg of the tour.
