My dream is to play Test cricket: Adam Zampa

Australian leg-spinner, Adam Zampa will make an appearance in the Sheffield Shield in order to boost his chances of selection for Australia's Test tour of India.

Zampa, 30, has performed consistently for Australia's white-ball side. The leg-spinner says that his Test ambitions are still present and will showcase his skills in the Sheffield Shield.

Zampa had an impressive ODI series against England, wherein he picked up 11 wickets in 3 matches and was one of the standout performers for the Aussie side.

Zampa has a dream

"My dream is to play Test cricket. My game has evolved over the last few years, it's just about how the workload and seeing how my body will cope," Zampa said to Fox Cricket.

Additionally, Zampa has been Australia's best bowler in the T20I format as well. He has scalped 82 T20I wickets, 17 of which came this year with an economy of just 6.93.

Australia's tour of India is scheduled to take place in February next year, and Zampa will be eager to prove his worth in the longest format of the game.
