Table toppers in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Gujarat Titans have been unstoppable so far. The defending champions have ticked the boxes across all three departments, and look ready to book a place in the playoffs.

One of the main reasons behind GT's success this season has been their bowling, which has been stirred by Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad. The spin twins from Afghanistan have rattled opposition batters into submission, picking 19 and 11 wickets, respectively.

Based on their performances, former England off-spinner Graeme Swann believes that Rashid and Ahmad could help Afghanistan win the World Cup this year if they are able to replicate their IPL form.

As quoted by NDTV, Swann also stated that wrist spinners are a rare commodity in the world, and other nations should be jealous of India.

Here's what Swann said

"Every nation should be jealous that India have so many good wrist spinners in the country. The only nation that shouldn't be jealous is Afghanistan. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad are possibly the best two bowlers in the world currently. Afghanistan can win the World Cup if they keep going,"

Interestingly, Afghanistan failed to win a single game in the 2019 ICC World Cup held in England. Rashid has played 86 One-Day Internationals (ODI), while Ahmad has featured in just one.

Afghanistan's next international assignment will be in Sri Lanka, where they play the hosts in a three-match ODI series starting June 2.
