Rain is back once again in the IPL final between Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings. It seems as if the rain god has decided to play the cat and mouse game and the fans have been deprived of a riveting final between two brilliant sides.

It had stopped raining a few minutes ago, and the covers were also off, but just when everything seemed to go according to the plan, rain arrived once again.

The two umpires and the players from both the sides were on the field, having a warm-up, but the rain god had some other plans and it has started to drizzle once again. Throughout the day, rain predictions were there and it came true during the match-time.

The good thing is that there is a reserve day, in case the game doesn’t take place tonight. 11:56 PM is the cut-off time for a 5-over match, and in-case that doesn’t happen, the reserve day will come into the effect.

Talking about the final, Chennai Super Kings will be looking to clinch their 5th IPL title, which will be the joint-highest (alongside Mumbai Indians). Meanwhile, if GT wins the coveted title, they’ll become the third team after CSK and MI to retain their IPL trophy.
