Mumbai Indians Express Gratitude to Fans After Sad Exit From IPL 2023

Mumbai Indians' campaign in IPL 2023 came to an end with a disappointing loss of 62 runs to Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2 against Gujarat Titans on Friday. It was a tough defeat for the team, but they took a moment to appreciate their dedicated fans by sharing a heartfelt message on Twitter. The match itself was dominated by Gujarat, who set a daunting target of 233/3 after opting to bat first, and then restricted Mumbai Indians to 171 runs.

Finishing fourth in the group stage, the five-time IPL winners advanced to the Eliminator where they faced Lucknow Super Giants and emerged victorious, displaying their determination and skill. However, their journey came to a halt in the next playoff game against the defending champions, who outperformed them in every aspect of the game. Despite the setback, the Rohit Sharma-led MI unit can be proud of their resilience and fighting spirit throughout the tournament.

The franchise took to social media to express their appreciation, acknowledging the unwavering loyalty of their fans and recognising the efforts they put in throughout the season.
