There are dark clouds looming over the Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai Indians are set to battle against the defending champions, Gujarat Titans for a place in the playoffs, but it seems as if the rain god has some other plans.

It is currently raining in Ahmedabad and the toss is likely to be delayed.

There was no prediction for rain by the weather department, but the sudden change has put a dark cloud over this crucial encounter.

Both the teams are fighting it out for a place in the finale, and that could be in jeopardy if the weather doesn’t improve. Interestingly, if the rain spoils the entire match, the Gujarat Titans will cruise through to the finals as they finished at the top of the table during the group stage.

The latest rain prediction is till 8 PM, and the fans will hope that the rain god stays away from the match. Talking about the two teams, Gujarat Titans lost the qualifier 1 at the hands of Chennai Super Kings, and have got another shot for a place in the finals.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians demolished the Lucknow Super Giants in Eliminator, but will have to cross one final hurdle, if they are to face CSK once again.
