Naveen-ul-Haq has been the talk of the town in the IPL 2023 after his much-talked tussle with Virat Kohli. Many people have criticised him after that fight with Kohli while some have supported him as well. However, Naveen-ul-Haq despite a huge buzz around him has managed to make his ball talk and deliver for LSG.

In the Eliminator of IPL 2023, against LSG, Naveen-ul-Haq bowled a beautiful spell and picked four big wickets to stamp his authority on the game. He got wickets of Rohit Sharma, Cameron Green, SKY and Tilak Varma to keep his team in the game at the end of the first half. The Afghan pacer had a chat with broadcasters in the innings break and delivered some pretty positive words.

Naveen-ul-Haq said that they have done a good enough job. He added that they expected the ball to spin but the wicket turned out to be better for batting than they expected. He also stated that the wicket is better in this game than it was for CSK-GT Qualifier 1.

He added that his team needed a wicket when Green and Suryakumar Yadav were building a good partnership and he delivered for his team as the leader of the attack. He signed off by saying that he is happy to do what his team expected from him in this game.

"Harsha bhai, I think it is good enough. We were expecting the ball to spin and grip, but it was coming well off the bat. Hundred percent, the ball was coming well in the bat and it feels like a better wicket than yesterday. I think, at that stage, they had a good partnership, and we needed a wicket. So I came back as a leader in this attack and they were expecting me to get the breakthrough, and so did I. So, happy for that."

MI managed to score 182 on the board despite Naveen-ul-Haq's four-fer and LSG will now need to bat well to eliminate MI out of the IPL 2023.
