After getting better off Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Qualifier 1, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have now booked their berth for the finals to be played in Ahmedabad. The victory came after some hard-fought effort with the bat and in return, GT were bowled out for 157 after some great bowling from the CSK spinners.

After the game, skipper MS Dhoni was asked about his future plans to which the 41-year-old said that he would decide after 8-9 months as there is ample time left for next auction.

Now, former CSK pacer and current coach Dwayne Bravo has given his two cents on the matter where he feels that Dhoni will play in the next IPL, although as an impact player but definitely, he would a part of the team.

Adding to this, Bravo explained that the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube have made things easier for them which has allowed MS to bat lower down the order.

“100 percent. Especially, with the Impact Player rule. It will keep prolonging his career. He bats really deep. I think the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, (Shivam) Dube... these guys make a huge difference. You don't require much from MS. But he has the ability to keep his calm when the team is under pressure.”

With the battle getting intense between the top sides, CSK will have to wait and see who will they be playing in the finals as the winner of the eliminator will clash against GT in Qualifier 2.
