After fabulous seven weeks of cricket, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has come to its last stage. The Eliminator match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2023 will be an exciting matchup. The match is scheduled to take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, whose pitch over the years has been one of the best in the country for T20 cricket, in Chennai on Wednesday.

Mumbai Indians, the five times champions of the tournament, led by Rohit Sharma, had a stroke of luck to secure their spot in the final four, as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) failed to win their final encounter against Gujarat Titans

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants, led by Krunal Pandya, had a more convincing path to the final four, winning their last three games in a row, including a victory over Mumbai Indians.

After the eliminator one team will end up their journey on this IPL and the other team will qualify for the Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Pitch Report of MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

The MA Chidambaram Stadium is known for offering a solid and dry pitch, which tends to assist spinners as the match progresses. The dry and deteriorating nature of the pitch poses an interesting challenge for both teams. Spinners will likely play a crucial role in controlling the run flow and taking wickets. Batters will need to adjust their game plan accordingly and be cautious against the spinners' variations and turn off the pitch.
