CSK Fielder Fires a Direct Hit After MS Dhoni Asks Him To Calm Down

It was getting a little tense for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) when they were facing the Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which was played at Chepauk Stadium. The match was in the 18th over of the final innings with 39 required off 18 deliveries when during the second delivery, the ball went to substitute fielder Subhranshu Senapati who fumbled a bit at mid-off.

Skipper MS Dhoni standing behind the stumps was quick to notice as he advised the youngster to cool himself down by taking long breaths. The reason for this was, Subhranshu entered the field a few moments back and this basically was the first time this season that he got the opportunity to field.

On the very next delivery, a wicket fell which was caught by Ruturaj Gaikwad and in walked Darshan Nalkande, who faced his first delivery towards the mid-off region where Senapati was stationed.

He ran towards the ball, collected it quickly and threw it at the stumps with full force which actually disturbed the furniture as Nalkande was found short of his crease.

Nalkande too, returned to the pavilion leaving GT in trouble at the score of 136 for eight. In the end, CSK emerged victorious by 15 runs and marched onto their tenth final.
