Captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs, MS Dhoni is having another remarkable season both with the bat and as a skipper where his job has purely been to smash sixes when coming lower down the order. Finishing at second place on the points table after eight wins, the yellow Army are currently involved in the Qualifier 1 against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Now, Dhoni's former Indian and CSK teammates, Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir were involved in a discussion during a commentary stint where they mentioned a story back from 2018. Harbhajan initiated the conversation and revealed that back in 2018 when CSK were coming back from the two-year ban, MS Dhoni got quite emotional and shed some tears.

He further stated that not many know about this story as all this happened during the team dinner.

"There is a story which I want to share. Back in 2018, when CSK made a comeback to this league after a 2-year ban, there was a team dinner. I have heard the saying that 'Men don't cry', but MS Dhoni cried on that night. He became emotional. I think no one knows about this. Right, Imran (Tahir)?"

In reply, Tahir mentioned that this very moment left an impact on him as he personally got to know about how much CSK meant to Dhoni which got all of them emotional.

"Yes, of course. Even I was there. It was a very emotional moment for him (MS Dhoni). Looking at him like that, I came to know how close this team is to his heart. He considers the team as his family. It was very emotional for all of us."

MS Dhoni would be looking to earn a victory in this game to directly enter the finals to be played on 28th May.
