After a disappointing end to their IPL campaign, RCB stars, Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj will leave for England on Tuesday, for the preparation of the WTC Final, set to take place on June 7.

In total, 10 players, alongside Indian team's support staff and coach Rahul Dravid will leave for UK as the team begins its preparation for their second successive finals at the WTC event.

The other players who are set to leave for UK are Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, and Ravichandran Ashwin. Middle-order batter Cheteshwar Pujara, who is already playing in England for County side Sussex, will join the team later this week.

Players who will stay back in India for the IPL playoffs are Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Mohammad Shami, Shubman Gill, KS Bharat and Ajinkya Rahane. They will leave for the UK in two different batches.

Indian team have been hampered with injuries ahead of the WTC final. Key players like Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul have been ruled out due to their respective injuries, and India will have a depleted squad for the one-off final against the Australian team.

India, who finished as the runners-up in the 2021 WTC final, will be looking to clinch the WTC title against a resurgent Australian side. The two teams will square off at the iconic Oval in London.
