Mumbai Indians have done their job in their last IPL match of the season. The MI team thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8-wickets and have kept their playoff hopes alive.

Now all the attention shifts towards the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who face the Gujarat Titans in their last match. A win here will seal their place in the playoffs, but rain threats looms large in Bengaluru at the moment.

The RCB side, led by Faf du Plessis have picked a wild-card player for this crucial encounter. Himanshu Sharma gets a nod in place of Karn Sharma.

RCB vs GT: Toss Updates

With one eye on the weather, Hardik Pandya elected to bowl first after winning the toss.

Hardik had no hesitation at toss time as he elected to bowl first. He clearly stated that the rain threat and smaller boundaries had an effect on his decision. He stressed that the key is to play positive cricket, especially with the Qualifier 1 just around the corner.

On the other hand, Faf wanted to bowl first as well. Teams batting first at Chinnaswamy have won a couple games this season, and that gives Faf du Plessis the confidence to do well in this crucial match.

For this game, RCB have included Himanshu Sharma in the side, and Karn Sharma misses out.
