In a bid to keep their playoff chances alive, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play their heart out to secure a win when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their thirteenth group-stage fixture of the IPL 2023 tonight. While SRH are out of the playoffs race, RCB need a victory to avoid a group-stage elimination.

Ahead of the much-anticipated face-off, former SRH coach Tom Moody has urged RCB to buckle up and bring their A-game to the table.

As quoted by The Hindustan Times, Moody backed legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli to put up a match-winning performance tonight. He also advised RCB to fire as a unit, not over-relying on their top three.

Here's what Moody said

"RCB's form has tapered off through the halfway stage, they started well but lost steam in the second phase. So they need to pull up their socks and go full throttle in the remaining games. They have a player like Virat Kohli, who will do everything in his potential to help RCB stay in the playoffs race."

"RCB will have to play as a team. Now is not the time that RCB should focus on just three players (Kohli, Maxwell and Faf). Now every player will have to come forward and fulfil his responsibility."

Led by Faf du Plessis, RCB have had a topsy-turvy campaign in the IPL 2023, winning six of their twelve matches. Although their top three batters have come out with all guns blazing, the middle order and bowling unit have disappointed them to the core and should put up a better show to help them win this fixture.
