Royal Challengers Bangalore find themselves in a must-win spot in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). After 12 matches, RCB have won six matches and lost as many games, meaning they would need to win both their remaining fixtures to qualify for the playoffs. And before the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB's top-gun Virat Kohli has seen flexing his bowling muscles during the nets on Wednesday.

Kohli, a part-time medium pacer, hasn't bowled since 2016 in the IPL but has tried his hand at the nets multiple times during RCB nets. However, it is even far-fledged to imagine Kohli bowling in a game at this stage of the lucrative league.

Just like the RCB maestro, his contemporary Rohit Sharma was also seen warming his bowling skills before Mumbai Indians fixture against Lucknow Super Giants.

In his illustrious IPL career, the former RCB captain has just bowled over 40 overs to snap four wickets at an average of 92.00 with an economy rate of 8.80. At one point in his career, Kohli used to bowl regularly for Bengaluru, but he left bowling after Chennai's Albie Morkel tonked him for 26 runs in 2012.

Nevertheless, Kohli and RCB will be in action on Thursday as they will be at loggerheads against SRH at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
