Prithvi Shaw is back amongst the runs for the Delhi Capitals. In the ongoing IPL match against the Punjab Kings, Shaw slammed his first fifty of the tournament and has silenced his critics with a timely half-century off just 36 deliveries.

After being omitted from the Capitals' playing XI for the last couple of games, Shaw was brought back in the side, and the opening batter has repaid the faith with a swashbuckling knock against a quality bowling attack.

After being put into bat by Shikhar Dhawan, the PBKS bowlers tried a barrage off bumpers against Shaw. Rabada even managed to strike him on the fingers as the physio was called onto the field.

However, once the shackles were broken with an upper cut off Rabada, there was no looking back as Shaw accelerated on a belter of a track. The confidence could be seen against the spinners as he was not afraid to use his feet against Rahul Chahar, lofting him over the covers. This was a mature innings from Shaw, who respected the good deliveries, but didn't shy away from putting away the bad ones.
