David Warner Creates 'This' Unique Record | Joins Kohli, Raina, Dhawan In The Elite List

David Warner has been the most successful overseas batter in the history of the IPL and has created many records on the way. He has been the orange cap holder for three times in his illustrious career and has now reached another special landmark.

Warner has now crossed 400 runs in the IPL for the record 9th time and is only the fourth batter in the history of the IPL to achieve this feat. Raina, Dhawan and Virat Kohli are the only other batters who have also scored 400-plus runs in the IPL for 9 times and it shows the kind of value Warner brings to the table. 

In the current 2023 season of the IPL, Warner is leading Delhi Capitals and has has played some quality knocks. However, his strike-rate has been under criticism but the lot of it also comes down to the rest of the batters around him not scoring consistently.

Warner's best season in the IPL came in 2016 season when he scored 848 runs for SRH and led SRH to their maiden IPL title. Overall, Warner is a IPL legend and though his stocks have come down a bit, he is still one of the marquee overseas players of the league.
