Promising Indian seamer Mohsin Khan showcased nerves of steel on Tuesday night, emerging as a hero for Lucknow Super Giants against Mumbai Indians. The tall left-arm speedster defended eleven runs in the final over, thereby securing a thrilling win for his side in a last-over cliffhanger on home soil.

Following his bowling heroics, Mohsin earned applause from all corners of the world, including former Indian pacer RP Singh.

Singh, an integral member of India's 2007 T20 World Cup triumphant team, praised Mohsin for his excellence in the final over. As quoted by News18 Cricket Next, Singh also explained how the pacer executed his skills to prevent Tim David and Cameron Green from scoring the winning runs.

Here's what RP Singh said

"Mohsin Khan did some out-of-the-box things with his bowling. He bowled a length ball, a short good-length ball and then a yorker, thus bowling with a better plan. He knew against which batters the yorker would work well."

"Cameron Green is a proper batter and his bat speed is a little different. For him, short or good length worked well from Mohsin Khan. Sometimes, you have to back your skills. Everything cannot be planned. Certain things need to be dealt with your instincts in certain moments."

Mohsin's exceptional effort secured a much-needed win for Lucknow Super Giants, who will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their final group-stage face-off on May 20.
