After a tough loss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) would be feeling the heat as they are in dire need to win their final game of the season. Batting first, the home side posted 144 on the scoreboard as batting against spinners proved a little difficult.

However, when KKR came out to bat, scoring runs never seemed a problem as they chased the score down inside 19 overs with Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana scoring half-centuries.

Talking after the match, CSK captain came out for interview but the noise of the public was so much that he couldn't really hear anything and hence, bent down to get close to the loudspeaker so that he could increase the volume. The moment was captured on camera as it was one of the most unusual happenings that we saw on the field.

Anyway, coming back to cricket, Dhoni blamed dew for not being able to defend the target as he mentioned that the ball stopped gripping which made batting too easy for the opposition.

"I think it's one of those days where you win the toss and bat first and just when the first ball is bowled in the second innings, you get to know that it is a 180 wicket. The dew played a big part tonight. It didn't arrive in the first innings and the ball was gripping. Even 160-180 would have been a difficult one to chase. You can't blame anyone and it was the conditions."

"We have spoken a lot with Dube and let it stay in the dressing room. Hopefully, he will continue with the form and not get satisfied. Chahar has the experience and knows where to bowl. In games where you don't have many runs on the board, you have to get smarter while bowling and he has a good experience of knowing it."

CSK's loss meant that they would now have to beat Delhi Capitals on 20th May to ensure that they qualify for the playoffs.
